The following are scripts for the Young People’s Writing Room program. Based on collaboration, ideas and concepts of youth participants, Aakowa generates theatrical and short-film scripts.

The Aakowa Parables Inc. may seek to develop some of these works as professional theatrical and film pieces for the public, offering opportunities for further collaboration with the participants who helped to create it.

Synopsis: A very wealthy young man who is sick of the world’s system seeks to create a separate destination with some investors that features a reality which is supposed to be perfect.

Synopsis: A famous singer who believes he has everything is confronted by the idea that without money he wouldn’t be so well-off. He accepts a bet to see if that is true.

Love Rules in Eltrontro

Synopsis: Taken place in the 1800’s, a young Mexican woman is caught between two rival gangs vying for power after the young woman’s father, who was their leader, dies. Both new gang frontmen are not only fighting for power politically, but also in battle for her hand in marriage to solidify their position.

Synopsis: The ambition to get rich is the goal for one man, and he is willing to do anything to achieve it. When they meet the investors for the venture that will bring that money in, much of that ambition is put to the test.

Synopsis: Good friends and collage roommates are separately getting ready for a night out. One of them is open about what he plans to do, the other is secretive. So, what happens when they run into each other during the night and the secret is revealed, as he is dressed in woman’s clothing.

Synopsis: An alien invasion is happening, and the leader of the free world seems to be completely lost about what is going on. The only explanation seems to create more confusion for everyone involved.

Synopsis: A young man wants to help his friend at school who is new to the country, and has been misplaced from his family. He expects that his mother will be able to help, since she has deep connections with power. The question becomes if they are actually helping at all.
